...Transfiguration, change, listening, following Jesus lead, shining with the glory of God… that’s enough to make anyone fall to the ground with fear. I believe that there are points in our lives where we are offered a choice to change and live more fully into who we are created to be. These point of inflections, points when our trajectory suddenly goes in another direction, can indeed be terrifying and yet at the exact same time they are profoundly holy and our way to God’s glory. In all of this we have choice. We get to choose whether or not we follow Jesus’ lead. Whether or not we conquer those scary switchbacks or we let them conquer us...
