"...Beloved, it is okay to be wrong. Sometimes we are wrong. Sometimes we are rebuked. God’s grace is big enough for all the many times God might look upon us and say as Jesus did to Peter, “get behind me Satan.” I have hope that we will receive these words in love and then rise and respond and live in the grace. And in doing so, claim enough grace that we stand in the reality that both those who agree with us and those who disagree with us may be receiving a faithful word. Claim enough grace to live and worship and be one human family with our kin who think and look and live differently than us. Claim enough grace to be open that there are some things about which we may still be flat out wrong. And claim enough grace to have the power to look the world and her lies in the face and rebuke in the powerful name of Jesus. Claim the amazing grace of God and proclaim from Jerusalem, Judea to the ends of the earth and perhaps even Pluto."
